Take action now to keep the foodservice containers you need.

Two bills before the California legislature, AB904 and SB 899, would effectively BAN a majority of foodservice containers you currently use.  Alternatives to banned products are expensive and scarce, and could add thousands of dollars in overhead for small restaurants.  In addition, restaurants could be forced to turn into recycling centers, which raises concerns about sanitation and public health.

Bans are ineffective in reducing litter, since they merely switch the items being littered.  Business and government leaders should work together to develop real solutions to litter and marine debris.
